I need to replace my Heater/AC switch assembly in my 2003 Silverado. It has the standard slider hot/cold for each side... My question is if I buy the digital one will it plug right in and work like the slider one? Or do I have to get the same one that's in it now?
Thanks for any and all Help!

Well since I can't get an answer I guess I'm gonna order it and see if it works... If it doesn't I'll send it back... If it works I'll post up and let people know that might want to do it in the future........

I hope you haven't ordered it yet. If you are talking about the auto climate control it won't work, there is a temp sensor mounted in the headliner above the driver that is needed for auto one, I think there is more. Do a search for auto climate control it should bring up a few posts on the matter.
I'd like to know where you were going to order that unit from, mine has a couple of burnt out lights that bug the crap out of me.

No I haven't ordered it yet.... Thanks for the heads up I really appreciate it!! I found both of them on Amazon, The Slider one is $90 and the digital one is $96. That's why I was thinking of getting the digital one cause there's only a $6 difference... But now I'll be getting the Same one that's in it now... Thanks Again!

I wouldn't buy a whole new unit just for the lights. You can easily take it apart and solder new ones in if you're comfortable with soldering.

I'm not as comfortable as I would like to be, I may have to practice a little bit.
