i have a 74 k20 single cab and have about 8 inches from the back of the seat to the cab at the base and it gets tighter as you move up. i would like to fit something small. I've been looking at the subs with the build in amps that are called bazookas but nto sure how they would sound. Any help would be awesome, thanks in advance.

if your not looking for earth shattering bass then amplified bazooka's arent bad. They do make slim mount subs which are usually under 4.5" mounting depth and lower.

I have a JL audio 10' V0 (maybe W0..? don't remember.. lowest model) does very good with all types of music without breaking your wallet.

yea i had a 12 inch kicker L7 back there but i like my leg room and had to put the seat to the front. im not worried about super loud bass just something that sounds good and you know its there. whats a good slim mount sub that i can fit back there? i have an amp already but i figured i could just sell it if i get a bazooka.

kicker, jl audio, rockford is who i know for sure makes slim mounts. I had the kickers and they didnt sound bad. I had 2 kicker 10's behind the seat of my crew cab and that thing has NO room whatsoever.

A jl w1 10. I had one in my f150 I loved it I'm a tall guy so my sub had to fit with no room lost I had like 250 in my setup for amp box and 1 10. Box was no more than 5in deep but was long. I hate those tubes they didn't fit in my truck and didn't sound half as good as the jl

That is true about the JL w0 10's. I always forget those. Also kicker L7 8's have a shallow mounting depth and take 450rms each and small sealed enclosures. Mine sounded great when I had them

I'm kinda partial to mine, Elemental Designs eu-700's. But they no longer make them, they do have some nice 8's though.

You could always try something like this

I'm sure you can get them in the States I'll be getting one in a few weeks I think.
Hope this helps

What the hell!?!? That is funky looking as all hell! I bet it slams amazingly hard? I have a 10" directed with a mediocure 500watt fosgate amp that slams the hell out of my Tahoe.

Honestly anything is going to do the job you are looking for. In my regular cab F-250 I had a kicker Comp VR 10" on an old clarion 4/2 channel amp that more the just filled out the sound. It didn't slam but it did have very solid bass. Tt was a 10-12 year old amp that I bridged the two channels and a $75 dollar or less sub, mounted in a truck sealed box.

They will surprise you, that is for sure. I should be building a ported enclosure for them in the next couple months and then they will really wake up.
