hey guys i have an 01 scsb 5.3 with a 2/4 drop , i have drop hangers and shackles with no notch and stock shocks, I plan on getting drop shocks but my question is, can I put drop leafs or blocks with the setup I already have? Or just better off doing the notch and do flip kit.

Really your only choice is a flip kit

Start fresh with the flip kit. The ride and handling will be much better then adding leafs/ blocks to your current set up. You can sell your old parts on here.

I can't remember which year truck, but some only need one extender, even if you are using lowering shocks you still need extenders to correct angle and allow more travel.

so i can use stock shocks with extenders? Is there a big difference in doing an 8 inch versus 6 .

ya its an everyday driver , roads arnt to bad, but mainly i was wondering will I just have notch and get shocks for an 8 inch drop or is it more to it. Cuz I wanna go low as possible without it being a whole thing

sweet so i can do 8 in the back fairly easy, if any body has shocks, notch or flip kit up for sale let me know. Should axle shimming be an issue at eight inches
