I am in the process of inquiring two different rigs. Both are going to be basically free. One is a 1956 Chevy 3100 that is complete minus a engine and transmission. The other is a 1987 Suburban diesel 6.2L that runs, but has not been driven for a awhile. I always love a project, one thing I love even more is doing a project with as little money has possible. I thought it would be cool to put a the 6.2L in the 1956 3100. I would also do a power steering swap and front disk brakes as well. The thing that would be cool is it would get great milage.

Anybody done this?
