Hey guys, I'm looking to sell my little S-10 that I recently finished up. Truck is track only and nowhere close to streetable. Weighs in around 2650. A few details.....
~Small block Chevy 355
~Wiesco 14:1 comp
~Carillo 6" rods
~Callies Dragonslayer
~Custom Crower .681 lift solid roller
~AFR 220's
~Bowtie intake
~Pro-Systems carb
~MSD Pro-Billet
~Custom fenderwell headers w/Dynomax 4" race muffs (sounds awesome)
~Powerglide with the works, transbrake, 5500 Coan converter, etc
~Ladder bars w/Koni coilovers and QA1 springs
~9" Ford, nodular 3rd member, 4:88 strange gears, strange spool, strange axles, strange chrome 3150 pinion, Ford style disk brakes
~Greg Weld wheels - 15"x14" w/Goodyear 31x13.50-15 D9 compound slicks and Centerline skinnies with Goodyears up front.
~8 point cage
~All windows lexan/plexi,, custom alum dash, custom wire harness, 5 point harness, removable steering wheel, all Autometer gauges, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc......
I have most, if not all details about all parts if needed.
Truck/motor has 6 test hits on it. No full runs. Pulls a 1.48x 60' and a 4.28x 330'. I figure a solid mid 6 in the 1/8th the way it is. Possibly better with more timing, susp adjustments and so forth.
The only reason I am getting out of this truck is because of the rediculous amount of BS I have to go thru to make a trip to the track....and that's not bringing $$$$ into the equation. My track is simply too far away, and frankly, the track is a joke anyway. The nearest "good" track is well over a 2hr drive. I also have found something I want to take on with the little bit of change this truck brings....I'm looking for a 69 GTO to fix up for my old man and give to him as a birthday gift. He bought a brand new one in 69, but sadly it was totaled on a dreary rainy day. He has wanted another ever since. So, that being said.....
As for trades, I'm looking for a 69 Goat, must be complete and driving. No big huge project and no rust buckets. don't care about the color as I will need to paint it anyway. Also, I will look into a 1969 Lemans or Tempest. I can easily make a GTO out of those as well. I will also entertain 4 door late model trucks as well. Must be of equal or better value.
I live in Central Texas, approx 45 miles from downtown Austin, Tx. I can deliver anywhere in Texas as long as a non-refundable $500 is paypal'd to me.
Also, I will sell as a roller! Roller price is 6500 with all electronics except the dist and water pump. Motor price is 4000, trans is 850, add 350 for the converter (over 800 new...has only 2 runs on it). I will not pull motor until a deposit is made on the roller. Motor/trans not available until roller is sold.
I have a gazillion more pictures and details if anyone wishes. A couple vids. THIS VIDEO (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BVV99ClYAVs) is a walk around. I have since painted the tailgate, added a rollpan and removed the stickers. THIS VIDEO (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xuxPVetBXSU) is one at the track. Ran a 1.500 sixty foot.
Any more questions? Post em here, or you can call or text me (Joe) at 512-748-1289
Thanks for your time,
~Joe
