Long story short I had lowered the hoe with hangers and shackles, just decided it wasnt for me so I brought it back up with stock shackles and 2" autozone blocks and U bolts till i could find stock replacement hangers.
Well as I've found out hangers are hard to come by. I could have the junk yard cut some out for me at $100+ per side...but I got to thinking...
NBS's use 2" blocks from the factory right? So blocks cant be that bad. I want to ditch the autozone crap and get quality on there. The NBS blocks shoudl fit right? I mean the leaf springs are essentially the same. There are always guys selling them for cheap so I figured it'd be a cost effective way of doing thing.
Your opinions? I know lowering hangers with blocks sounds sketch and dumb, but is there any real problem with it?
