I've got a '65 c-10 short bed. It has a 350 and and automatic transmission. I'm not sure what its out of because I bought it like that. Well a couple months ago I was going around a corner and my rear end locked up and it sent me skidding down the road sideways and ended up in a ditch. My problem is that the drive shaft is about an inch too short and instead of the previous owner getting a new drive shaft made, he loosened the nut on the pinion to make up for the difference. So what should i do? I'm guessing getting the drive shaft lengthened? About how much does this cost? Thanks for any help yall. I'm learning as I go with this thing
