We bought a '99 Tahoe and just HAD to add cai and a cat-back. The CAI was an ebay thing and is so-so. The exhaust started as a Magnaflow cat-back also an ebay "special". it was on a super markdown in price (original cost of the 15702 kit is about $700) and i snatched it up. ( won't say how much I spent,and the reason will soon be evident!) Anyways, when I got it a couple of days later, I found that the 15702 kit I bought is a single 3" in system and my Tahoe has the dual inlet to the muffler. I TRIED to adapt the single inlet muffler by use of a "y", but the offset inlet made the whole thing impossible.:mad: So I bought a flowmaster dual inlet muffler and used the tailpipe out of the cat-back kit. that 4" stainless tip looks sexy and the sound is great.
Anyone want two-thirds of a stainless cat-back?:rolleyes:
