Ok this is something i plan to do in the near future and i will use you guys' suggestions to do it so help me out and give me some ideas please!

Vehicle : 92 Silverado stepside

im thinking on getting something like this:

http://i.ebayimg.com/21/!BgJReB!BGk~$(KGrHqYOKiwErzSS!GGEBLEIK8Uzdg~~_3.JP G

Why? because it goes on the inside of the chassis and i wanna get rid of the leaf springs so i can use wider tires on the rear.

Now,
I know i need to relocate the fuel tank in order to make this work,

My Questions are:

Do I need to have a Step notch in order for this to work?

Do I HAVE to use air bags?

Can I get away with adjustable coilovers ONLY?
---if so which ones should i use?

I want to do this to have a low and smooth ride... i like the way it is right now but it feels too jumpy and on medium size bumps its bottoming out

any ideas are welcome

Thanks in advance.

You don't need bags but they are awesome. Coil overs will ride and handle good but the bags will handle and ride great.

If you are bottoming out then you need a notch or something the fix that problem. The 4 link will not change the fact you are bottoming out.
