I am interested in your diff. I need to check to see what gear ratio mine has. Also, can you tell me if the diff is in 2WD does the left front wheel still turn the driveshaft? I know some AWDs use that, but I thought that ours acted like the old 4X4 hubs and both front wheels freewheel? I've never had IFS before and always had manual hubs before.
Thanks.

I believe when it was in my truck i was able to spin the driveshaft freely. jus went out and spun each side nothing happen on the driveshaft end.

That's what I thought. Mine drags the driveshaft when the left front turns. Any idea how much it would cost to ship that to west central Indiana zip 46128? I still need to check my gear ratio.

Probably be around 60-80. Not that heavy..think its weighs less then a transfer case, and ive shipped a couple before. Id just have to find a box long enough for it

Well it isn't the diff. When I tighten the axle nut, the axle siezes up. Loosen the nut and the axle moves free. I checked and the driveshaft doesn't turn all the time. If I put any resistance on the driveshaft it stops and the wheel still turns free. That is as long as the axle nut isn't tight. I went and got a new bearing and when I went to install the new bearing, I saw a seal in the back of the hub. I removed this seal and the hub moves free even with the axle nut tight. Now I need to see if this seal is something that is supposed to be in there.

Well I may need stuff. This PO did some of the silliest things. While I had the brakes off I decided to replace the pads. The left rotor was in good shape and I was too lazy to get it turned. But, when I took off the right side, I found that he had installed new pads on a chewed up rotor! First, who puts pads on only one side and second, why would you put new pads on a chewed up rotor? But hopefully I have found all his screwed up stuff..
