So I'm looking to get a set of 20's for my 95 1500, but I am trying to figure out what offset and backspacing I'll need. I've played around on tirerack in order to see what they recommend, but they are showing fitments for stock 1500's, not ones laying frame like mine. Will the ones they recommend fit inside the fenders, but not be in a goofy looking amount?
It seems to be very difficult to measure... Does anyone have any suggestions? I'm running tiny 15x7s now, so a rim/tire calculator won't be that accurate. I'd love to do 20x9.5 in the back, and 20x8.5 in the front.

Thanks,
Troy

5" backspace up front on 20x8.5 wheel, and 5.5" out back with the 20x9.5 wheel. Don't go bigger then a 255 tire up front.

Okay great, I appreciate it. I'll post pics once I get a set on. Does anyone have any pictures of wheels in these sizes on their regular cab short bed laying frame? I've been searching but can't find any...

Thanks!

Plan on going out this week and start pricing a set of 22" wheels for my 03 Silverado that is getting ready to be dropped 4/6. I have been told the biggest tire I can run is like a 265/35/22 in the front..Can I run a larger/wider tire in the back? What size wheels do I need..I really like the BOSS 304'S or the Torque Thrust..which are available in a 9.5" wide and 6 lug...Well any help or links would be greatly appreciated..

Will 24x10 +30mm offset 6.7" back spacing with a 255/30/24 fit on a 94rcsb with a 4/6 drop or possibly 3/5 drop?

Did you ever get an answer on how this set up will work? Or did you end up getting it all on and played with trial and error? I just ordered the same wheel and tire set up for my wife's 05' tahoe and the same 2/3 lowering kit. Curious on how much fab work will be needed to battle tire rub. Hit me up if you have any good input, I'd greatly appreciate it.

I already have a 2/4 drop on my 95 Reg. Cab but am needing more more more. 2" more front and back for a 4/6. I have 275/45/20's on that seem so hug the fender well pretty well. Wondering how much, and what things I will need to move, cut, pound, roll, or just plain cuss out of the way.

Any input would be appreciated as always. good day.

You can trim the lip on the control arm like this:

Gathering parts to do a 4/6 drop on my 94. And was wondering what is the backspacing that is needed for 15" wheels have found that 5 inch up front will work but not sure about the back going with 295/65r15 drag radials out back with 10" wide wheel but need to know what backspacing will work. Just got done with a 6.0l ls swap with a cam swap and 3.5k stall and it does not hook, but still tons of fun.

I am planning on a 4/6 drop with cragar soft 8s. I've been looking at the 17x8 with 4.5 in backspacing also there are 17x9 with 5 in backspacing. Will either of these work? If so what size tire would be best for them? It's a 91 obs. Thanks
