need some help and opinions. got an '88 rcsb i'm doin a 454 swap & 22's with a new rear frame section. my question is with the new frame section would it hurt or be possible to maybe use a 2-piece driveshaft so that only the rear shaft is mobile? the truck has a 3 1/2" traditional bodydrop that i went straight back with the rails and a xmember that pretty much goes straight across at the back of the cab. i'm just not sure i wanna cut into the xmember and weaken it,i'm gonna try to keep the bed floor as stock as possible. here's what im workin with so far. http://i1082.photobucket.com/albums/j372/obs4eva/again32.jpg
