I have a 99' tahoe with the 5.7L disc in front and drums in rear(if this even matters). i am deleting the abs but need to know what proportioning valve i can use on it? I have done the abs delete before on an old s10 that i had so i know what Is needed to be done. can I use one from a 94' s10 with the proportioning valve? or will i need something else?
thanks in advance

Well I went to the local junkyard and picked up a proportion valve from a 94' s10. I'll post again later to let u know if it worked or not.

I just pulled the ABS fuse out of my blazer so the ABS wont work. How is changing the valve any different? My ABS never comes on now. Is this better to change the valve?

I pulled the fuse on mine too. But now I am trying to tuck 24's on the front of my truck so I could use the extra room. Plus my brakes were real soft so hopefully this fixes that too. I think there was a air bubble in the abs module. But my truck is only a summertime driver so abs won't matter too much to me.

Oh i gotcha. Mine were soft also. I never cared much for ABS so i just pulled the fuse and they worked better.
