I was tinkering on my truck today and figured out that it is a bit more rusty than I thought. Somebody has had a good time with the Bondo can looks like. I need to replace the drivers side cab corner and rocker and the passenger side as well from just quick looks right now. I havent done any major snooping as of yet just havent had time.
Where is the best place to get patch panels and things of that nature?

http://www.pershingauto.com/ has good prices on replacement panels.
All though their website doesn't seem to be working.
what year model truck is it? Keep in mind alot of times with patch panels, they're not going to be perfect and going to need some "massaging" to get to fit properly

when I was washing mine last week, the rag went plumb through the cab corner :bawl: It was heartbreaking for me. Those bubbles had been there for 4 years or so and it finally happened. So now I need top of cab and hood painted as well as cab corner fixed. Scared to ask how much that's gonna cost.

Just hope that the corner is all it is.
I could tell on my drivers side corner that it was bondo but didnt know how much until I looked underneath. I can almost bet from the looks of it they never replaced anything just smeared bondo all over it. It is rough as a cobb. I hate when people do cheap crap like that.
Anyway I am gonna fix it right when I get the cash to get the panels. Cant wait to tell my wife that my "new" truck has to have part of the body replaced. She is gonna die. Luckily my dad is a good body man and he said we could get her fixed up no problem and at minimal cost. Parts only no labor other than some elbow grease.

lmc is over priced.. I can buy everything they sell at half the price from other company's. If you like LMC don't take it wrong, but i just get sick every time i look at one of their magazines and prices.
