I have a good fiberglass canopy that came off and early 90s short bed mazda pickup, and when I write up the Craigslist ad I want to be able to list which pickups it will fit. I will get the dimensions, but I can already envision getting emails asking "will this fit my pickup". Anybody have any idea about this?

Just measure the length and width and post the size. Then if they still ask you, post a link to the tape measure section of Home Depot's website.
No, the aren't all the same, but generally pickups of that era have very similar bed sizes, apart from long bed/short bed differences.

the early ford/mazda pickups came in 6 ft and 7 ft versions just not exactly sure what years exactly and only other differences would be flairside or stepside

It's sizes are different, you just need to measure yours to buy an accurate size for your truck. Do you have a referral where can I look for good truck deals? However I heard this report. "In spite of having pulled the much-loved but little-bought Ford Ranger from household production last year, a brand new Ford (http://www.cardealexpert.com/news-information/auto-news/ford-compact-pickup/) compact truck is being mulled. The company thinks there is a case for a new Ford compact pickup, but doesn't want to take a bath on it".

........Holy SPAM Batman!
Read his original post. He's selling one and wants to know what other trucks it would of fit. If you read through, you would also know that it's already sold.
