1997 5.7 Chevy I want louder

I have a 1997chevy pick up with true duals flowmasters and cats very large tips ran towards the bed corners behind the tires. But i want really loud but dont want it to sound like total crap. I would like to get ride of the cats but not sure on what to do with the oxygen sensors?? Its 2.5 pipe and plan to keep it that way, just getting opinions on mufflers. I am looking at dynomax bullets? i would like a loud but deepish sound if possible.

Spintech would be another good one to look into. I had no cats on my 97 however I had longtubes so it was a little different. I would advise against running no cats if youre not going with LTs. You could get something like a Thunderbolt cat. Theyre cheap and Ive heard people say its louder than stock cats. The O2 sensors you can leave in but youll have to tune your PCM to keep the SES light off

Shortys with 2.25 dual straight pipe to 90 degree 4inch tips. I put the 02 sensors back in by cutting a hole in the side of the pipe and welding a bolt to it and screwing the o2 sensor back in. Its pretty loud at the end of each gear but deep when your cruzing.

My buddy has a dynomax on his 6.0 sounds MEAN its 3.5 inch single to a big diesel tip it resonates in the cab terribley though..

My friend had a 6.0 with shortys and true dual cat backs. It sounded bad a$$ but you could hear it in the cab pretty good as well.

Lt's long tubes? and the whole reason not to run cats is the tone, i heard you can make o2 deletes for dirt cheap and there pretty cheap to buy already made. Headers arent in the price range for me atm and probably will never get them, i have enough power its just a daily driver, i just like the tone.

To be honest i could care less about what you could hear in the cab, i will have music blarring anyways!

Theres not enough tone to just straight pipes, i like loud but not if it doesnt sound good. Btw what is the size of your rims and tires? i love your truck!!

Dynomax ultraflow is fairly stupid loud on a 6.0, I could only imagine on a 5.7.
