When I turn my headlights on, speakers pop and neons turn on...?

Started having this problem a few months ago and I can't figure it out. When I turn my HID headlights on, my speakers pop once and my interior neons turn on. The neons are on a touch switch and when you cut the power to it, the lights come on when you re-power the switch. I have had the HIDs for over a year so I dont know why this is happening now. I have a optima red top battery, stock alternator, everything works perfect... I dont get it...

How long have the "neons" been in the vehicle. What are they wired to?

They have been in for over a year and they are wired to the same wires as my amp. There is only 2 of them so it's not much draw.

it sounds like you have power leaking from somewhere. Start by tracing the wires that are common from both the neons and amp. Since you have the popping in the speakers and the neons coming on it means they are both getting power when they shouldn't be. If you cant find anything on those wires double check the rest of your connections and make sure you don't have any other damaged wires.

Is your amp running fine? id never run something like that to the same wire my amp is on. Run a seperate wire with fuse off the battery for stuff like that. Atleast thats my philosophy

check your grounds
