I want to do 4 12's in my OBS ext cab. I plan on walling off the EXT cab part. Anyone done this? I need some pics and ideas!

Not 4 12's nor a wall... but 2 12's in a 5.5cu ft ported box tuned to 32hz.

Uh oh, that doesn't sound very reassuring. That box kinda sucked anyway.

The truck is gone completely...


So I pulled the stereo. Trying to decide what I am going to do with the subs and amps. They are too much for the gti I think...

Why did you get rid of the truck? I haven't been around much.

Can I get specs on that setup possibly? Thats exactly what I wanna do, I said wall, but I meant just up to the window. And I want RE subs, probably SE-X for now, then in the future upgrade to SXX.

Well since it was built in 09, I don't remember the complete specs at the top of my head.


That box looked HUGE for a couple of 12's, could have just been the picture though.

Wasn't THAT big what you don't realize is that the amp rack is integrated with the box so the box is seems bigger than it is.

i have a ecsb obs with 2 12s downfiring. amp and capacitor mounted behind rear seat.

I traded for a truck that previously had a competition stereo system in it. It had a 'wall' in the extended cab part. Here is what the setup looked like before the guy took it out:
