Is a 4/6 drop possible on a 94 obs rc? Should run 2"spindles and 2" springs or 2" spindles and 2" control arms? Thanks

4/6 on 22s is pushin it i am not so sure about 24s.. You would definately have to tub your front end and most likely woulndt be able to turn lock to lock. Id run spindles and springs up front. Ive heard a few bad things about spindles and control arms coming apart/breaking

I will be running a 275/25 or 275/30, I ran a 3/5 on 22s on a s10 when no one said I could as a DD, I may start out with 2/4 and go from there. I'm cool with tubbing the front and rear. I think it's about a 31" tall tire, so ima do some measuring. Thanks

Depends on what your back spacing and the width is too. Right now im running a 285/35 up front on a 22x9.5 I have rubbed only a couple times on big dips at highway speeds on a 2"-4" drop. Gonna be going to 3" drop in the spring, we'll see how it goes.

Ok 275/25 is way high, prolly do a 255/30. Prolly should just do a 3/5 drop. Looks like it will be real close. Should be fun!

Spindles and springs wears on the lower balljoints, which can cause them to fail. That happens to most who try the combo. Spindles and arms will have the bottom of the control arms breaking the scrub line.

you cant go wrong with McGaughys spindles & coils, that drop on that truck with 24s would be sick as hell

I just bought this truck not long ago. Tonight I realized it has 2" shackles on it so I think a flip kit would fit the 24s. So for now I'm gonna run a 3/6 and see how they fit, I will have to go back to factory shackles but may be able to run these and then possible do a 4" drop in the front if the 3" has no issues. This wont be hacked either so if it rubs then I will tub it or raise it up some.

just make sure you dont run a rim wider than 9.5" wide with a high offset. Post some pictures up as soon as its done, sounds like its gonna be bad ass!

Ok will do. I need to start a project thread. Bought it for $800, doing paint, interior, suspension and a motor swap. It's super slow project but paint will be first then complete suspension. Should be nice when finished tho.

Dropped the truck 3/6 on top of the 2" shackles so I raised the shackles 1", buying a new bed to measure up, I think the front can go another inch but ima wait and see until after the motor swap bc that may drop it down some more. Looks pretty good tho.
