If I go to a 17" wheel on my 00 ECSB that is going to change the speedo correct and if so besides a tune is there a way to correct it?

Wheel size doesn't change the speedo, TIRE size does. If you stick with the stock size tire you don't need to do anything, your speedo will be correct. Dealership can do the change for you, and just about any handheld programmer has the ability to do it. I would however get with BlackBear (or other tuner) and get a tune and change your speedo at the same time. BB's tunes are cheaper if not the same price as a handheld and the results are much better. If your tire size change isn't that great, you really don't need to change the speedo. I went from a 265 to a 285 and my speedo was off 3%, big whoopee if you ask me. What kind of mods are you thinking?

Lookin at probably 305's right now and maybe 315's dont know yet. Cant really make up my mind. I really like these wheelshttp://www.wheelcomponents.com/images_temp/300300000Moto-Metal-MO957-MBlack.jpg but they only offer them in 17" not 16's which is fine just makes the tires more expensive. Anybody got any suggestions on where to buy wheels online? I can get them locally but I know they are gonna cost me.

Having trouble deciding which tires to get. Was looking at Nitto Trail Grapplers or Mickey Thompson MTZ's but have read that the Nitto's dont wear good. I had a set of the Mickey's on my old truck and loved them. Got probably 35-40 K out of em. Any other suggestions would be appreciated. I do some offroading so I am looking for more of a mud tire.

Another question I had is about gearing. My truck has 4.10's in it. How is going to say a 305 (which is what I am leaning towards) going to affect me?

305 is just short of a 35" so your 4.10's will be ok. your bigger TIRES will change the speedo
assuming your original tires were 245's the speedo would be 16% off

Well it has 265's on it right now but guess they got upgraded by someone else. I plan on a custom tune probably from Black Bear but that is gonna be down the road and I will get them to take care of the speedo. Thanks.
