I have a 2007 Silverado, suddenly, three of four radio speakers don't work. Passenger side door and tweeter work, driver side tweeter works but not door, back are gone. Ideas? Of course, I have checked balance and fade. Could three of four speakers gone out at one time? Thanks.

could you ope up the door and see if they are blown? i blew my components last month and just now getting around to replacing them and they have very little noise coming from the woofer but the tweets are just fine. if you gently push on the woofer cone and it scratches it's blown. best thing would be to find some cheep coaxial speakers and use those in less you wanna go all out on a system.

I was hoping to avoid trying to open up the door panels, it does not look like an easy job. Oddly enough, the driver front speaker came back on for about 30 minutes, making me think there is some connection that is loose. Absent any other information, trying to get one panel off is my next option.

Sounds like the amplifier chip in the radio is blown to me. The likelihood of 3 speakers blowing at once is about zero.

I had the same problem with an 07 burb. When I would push in on the radio itself the speakers would come back on. Brought it to the dealer for service and had them check it out, the connection had just worked itself loose. Of course this was a stock system, not sure what you have.
