Speakers acting up???

Ive got Type-R components in my doors hooked up to a small orion amp. mounted on the back wall of my 96 ecsb K1500. Sometimes when I'm listening at lower volumes my pass. side speaker will make a popping noise, but when i turn up the volume it goes away. It doesnt happen all the time, just every now and then and i cant figure out what is making it do that.

Sounds like the speaker wires may be a little loose. Have you checked that?

yea ive checked all my connections and everything is tight and connected well.

I'm guessing the crossover may be going bad. Both the tweeter and the mid-woofer start to pop? The connection is probably bridged by pushing more power through it. One surefire test would be to swap crossovers (put the driver's side x-over on the passenger side and vise versa).
