Testing interest in selling my Chevy silverado 2500HD. Ive started a newer job and the gas is starting to make a dent in my budget. I'm not forced to sell due to hard times so no lowballs. I'm purely looking to sell to save on some gas. Here's the details. I'm the second owner as I remeber from the carfax. Previous was also private buyer. I bought it with 38k. Its a silver birch metallic ECSB 2500HD. 6.0l with a 4l80E auto. 4x4 with 73000 on the clock. It's on Goodyear duratracks with about 13k on them rotated religiously. They still look brand new. Size 285/75/16. Cranked up some in the front to sit level. Dual into single 3" pipes into Borla XR1 muffler with a 4" tip 45* out the rear at stock location. Still has factory cats. No mechanical issues during my ownership except an idler pulley and the blower motor resistors replaced twice including last week. There are some very minor body defects including a small dent in the passenger door and a scratch by the tail light. Always ran full synthetic oil and Mobil 1 filters every oil change. Doesn't leak any fluids or use any either. This is an Illinois truck so there is some surface rust on the suspension components there was some showing under the rear suicide doors but had a body shop repair. Also has 5% tint over factory in the rear and 20% on the fronts. The tail lights have also been smoked. This truck is meticulously cared for and I'd like to keep it amongst truck members rather than selling to a kid with some money and watching him destroy it. Ive looked around for similar trucks around me with similar miles. Looks like 18k is a good starting point Ill negotiate to a point. Not looking for trades.
