k1500 torsion key removal

how do i remove the keys off my torsion bars?

beat them off, over time they can seize on due to rust and such.

I'm talking about the whole process

got to jack it up and let the tension off, use an unloading tool, remove the bolt and nut part the bolt goes in, let the key hang down, then fight to get it off the bar and the bar out of the lower control arm.

the unloading tool can i use something else i dont have that tool

You are better off finding the tool. If that key comes off of whatever you are using you will require the services of a paramedic.

agreed you can buy them for like $70 or maybe even rent one from autozone or advance.
