Having a hard time finding wheels. Truck color is black. Not looking for real fancy rims. No chrome, don't feel like having to constantly clean them. Looking for polished, black, or black w/ machined accents.

1. Spending limits?
2. Is the truck lifted or anything?
these are the rims I ran on my 1/2 tons. I have a very similar set for my one tons

It is lifted. Guy I bought it from wasn't sure how much but people have told me prolly about 2-4 inches. And I don't have much of a spending limit..just don't wanna spend a fortune.

Also, I spent less than $400 for those wheels new. I have a "guy".

Vic I love those classic wheels on them body styles. You know a guy who knows a guy that had some fall off a truck? I need friends like that. Vic are you riding down to champiagn for the meet? Im always down for meeting more truck guys especially if they have "connections"
EDIT: heres the link to the planning section if interested. http://www.fullsizechevy.com/forum/off-topic/events/events-planning/489452-fsc-midwest-meet-up-super-happy-fun-time-19.html#post5522511

ha, I got them legit. but for cheap. They are Eagle 059s I think....basically exactly the same as Mickey Thompson Classic IIs.
I can't make it to the meet. My truck is currently tore down for the 383 redo and I have to finish the rear (14 FF with 5.38s). Also, my license is currently suspended due to refusing a breathalyzer (DUI dismissed).
I also have a tire guy, I bought 4 35x12.50x15s for $675 a couple years ago.
basically, you name it, and I know some one.....sad but true. One of my connections is in Ottawa actually.

My parents (and my boyhood home) is about a mile from the land fill, I live in Amboy right now.
I have these rims laying around, I was going to sand blast them and paint them, I'm not even sure they will fit my ford 60 outers.

I've looked at them Classic IIs but I've read a lot of people say that the clear coat don't last for nothing and they have to constantly clean them

I only had my Eagles for a year, so I can't say for sure. but for less than $400 I couldn't go wrong.

Ill test fit those rims my former tow rig on my 60, if they don't fit, i'll be putting them on Craigslist.
I know where there are some plain white spoke 16.5s and some aluminum 16.5s for $150 a set. Here by Amboy.

I'm a big fan of plain-jane Soft 8's or stock wheels like in my sig...painted black of course
I should probably use a wider wheel than the 7 or 8" it is, but i don't air down enough to see an issue and my wear pattern isn't in the middle so much as i would have expected. I'm running a 12.5" wide tire, just for clarification :D

I have 16.5s on now and I like them but it's too hard to find tires for em...and Koots what kind of rims are on yours?

 You really can't see them in the sig, eh?

Get a photobucket account. Host the pics there and in the reply box here on the site in the bar at the top there's a portrait that looks like a landscape. Copy the photo URL into that box.

First of all, beautiful truck. I wish my '83 was nearly that nice. Second of all, I love the look of white wagon wheels on lifted versions of these trucks. They have that old-school, badass look to them.
Second of all, Koots, I need your grille/bezels! I'm having the most impossible time trying to find an '83 GMC grille (mine's titled as a GMC but it's been re-done with Chevy stuff).

I would leave the slots on there that you have now. Very old school. Just turn those whitewalls in.

To Your41Plague12, first of all thanks! But I know from the pic they look white but actually their like a silver/gray color, not sure exactly what you would call it. Second, if your talkin about the '83 in your sig it looks pretty damn good to me! I've seen that orange rig on google by typing in K20 and I love the orange with them black fender flares. And if your looking for a grille and bezels for it take a look on lmctruck.com they have pretty much everything. I just bought a billet grille and new bezels from there last month.

H2 Hummer wheels.... Cheaper than aftermarket and better looking too in my opinion.
