I have been all over the internet looking for headers for my 1993 GMC 3/4 ton Vandura with the 5.7 liter engine. It's a hi-top conversion van (Chattanooga Choo Choo) that is still all factory with 60K miles on it. The van runs fine as is, but I carry heavy loads in it occasionally on long trips and could really use more power. However, I am having a terrible time finding a company that sells headers for this vehicle, What is the deal! It is a freaking chevy 350 TBI, with no A.I.R.. It does have A/C and a cat still in place. Why is it so hard to find a proper fit header set for my van? Anyone running headers on their late-model Chevy/GMC van?

I'm not sure if they are available, but i would think headers on a van would produce insanely high temps under the cover.

Not at all. I have a 1977 Chevy 1/2 ton short wheelbase van with a 350/350 combo and I have headers on it with no problems with heat.
