tuner-upgrades and opinion(s) on to do???

I currently have and drive a 01 CCSB i use it for everything, daily driver, pulling race car, pulling dirt bikes, and in winter pulling snocross sleds so its a well used truck. i have a Edge attitude juice on it now w intake thats it im going to be putting 17s w 285s(Dick Cepek) on it as well as a turbo back 4 exhaust..
I was thinking about getting a dif tuner I read all the info about PPE and EFILive but i like my screen and watching the vitals on that being able to program tire size and all that but is is really doing anything for me or??? I was leaning torwards the Edge CS or CTS...I hear and also see with my own eye the Banks systems are lil more expensive...however i do know and have seen in the diesel mags other screend tuners out there on the market.... What would be my best option and what are some of your ideas thoughts and 2cs???

Does the Edge tuner you currently use have a screen on it? You should be able to select what you want to monitor, if you get the EGT probe that hooks directly into it also.

I'd recommend Efi-Live, a 4" exhaust, and if you don't have atleast an Egt guage atleast get that. Boost is also nice but not really anything you need to monitor.

I have the Edge Attitude w/ Juice now... I have the screen display thats hanging out in a pillar pod i currently have 4 items displaied on it my EGT Boost RPMs and also the gear it also shows what power level im on at the same time it show these other 4...

Does the EFILive have a display or is all there stuff a little turn knob??? ive heard that the digital read outs of the Edge screens arent the same as a regular pod then again ive also read that the newer Edge prodects ie. CS and the CTS are true lopes tunes and truely change timing and not just trick the ecm as the older smaller units...Edge does have a option of upgrading for few houndred dollars i can have my unit upgraded and add the CS or CTS would that be worth the time and money???

I like the display over pods but if id be better off w pods i guess ill go that way...just asking for some thoughts out there and some help in making up my mind

Efi-Live is just a switch, you can have multiple options. The most common is a DSP-5 switch with 5 tunes on it.
I use my edge insight as my gauges, I bought it strictly for the use of being an electronic gauge system and it has no power adder options on it.

Some of the new Edge monitors (CTS I think) actually work with efi live and allow you to change your efi-live tunes from the monitor screen.

If your comparing the benefits of upgrading your current edge to a CTS and still using that as your tuner vs Efi-Live there is no comparison.

Stick with what you have there really isn't advantages to you switching other then maybe a better Edge unit.

you really dont think i should change?? Ive been looking into the EFI n also talkd to a couple frinds in the area that have it and they really like it, they say its the best n only way to go. Ive tryd finding a EFI programer for my truck but nothing turning up used anywhere for me n i mean NOTHING....i know if i could find something i have a guy that is willing and ready to buy my Edge system that i have now so ive really been looking...

If anyone out there has any help for me in the lines of a EFI unit float me a hook

You can't buy efi-live used. It's flashed in the ECM. And I wouldn't want used efi live anyway, it's setup for each specific truck.
