Alright here's my issue, I just put in a new Bosch fuel pump a month ago, not me a mechanic, and when I went to start it this morning Before school fuel shot out of the top of the tank/ pump area and gushes at a pretty steady pace. It ran fine since the install but I'm thinking that the line to the motor must have came off or something. And of all the times my mechanic is on vacation so for now I'm looking to see if I can fix it myself or if it's that simple. The truck is an 02 5.3 ec Sierra if anyone has any guidance or knowledge of what could be wrong it'd be greatly appreciated as I didn't get a good look at it this morning. Hopefully this won't screw my whole weekend

I just looked at the truck, it looks like there's a line that runs parallel to the rear of the tank and it's leaking, it has some kind of connector thing on it too but I can tell that it's leaking around where the metal connects to the metal and the truck continues to shoot fuel out by power of the fuel pump

found out that one of the lines leading from the tank that was rubber wasn't properly connected when the guy put on the pump so after a month it vibrated off, just had to clip it back in
