I have a 94 chevy regular cab, and was wondering whats some gound bump i can get outta my ride. right now im running alpne 4x6's in the dash, stock in back, a polk dx 10 in a q logic box behing the passenger seat with a 400 watt legacy amp, right now it its not loud as hell, but u can feel it and it sounds decent. What do u guys think for sub/amp combo without ripping myself a new ******* as far as debt goes? I dont need to be hear 3 blocks away, but i want some freekin knock. Thanks Fellaz.. Oh and in a week my truck will be outta the shop and fully bagged!I cant wait, thas im asking about a phat stereo system. Oh and another thing, I emailed audiobahn, and they are interested in sponsoring my truck with whatever i want, what do u guys think of this? i havnt acted on anything, but It's a thought...

Well, Audiobahn isn't the best out there, but It can sound decent. If they are going to sponsor you, It might be worth your while.
If you are going to be paying for your equipment, I would recommend 2- 12" Image Dynamics IDQ subs, and a nice Class D mono amplifier. I would recommend getting 4 ohm dual voice coil subs. wire the coils in parallel, and the subs in parallel. this will give you a 1 ohm load. A Cadence A7hc will put out over 1400 watts into 1 ohm, and the JBL1200 will put out 1200 watts into 1 or 2 ohm. Scala1 on ebay sells the JBL powervalve amps for $295 out of his store. You dont have to bid. But search for him on ebay for contact info. If you dont wanna squeeze 12's back there, go for 2-10s. get 4 ohm single voice coils. Wire them in parallel for a 2 ohm load, and run a cadence A5HC, or a JBL600.1. For good imaging lose the 4x6's and the rear speakers. Get a nice component set, and install them in the doors or make kick panels. Give them 100 watts, and your truck will jam.
12's will fit. Here's one I did a while ago.z-71 system (http://www.suburbanwrecker.com/z71.htm)

i don't know how much thump you want. I have 4 mtx 10's in my standard cab with the seat all the way back powered by a mtx 500d amp bolted under the seat. I would go away from the dash locations. Install a good set of seperates into the doors or kicks.

why even ask about the audiobahn? dang, if they want to pay for everything, it don't matter how it sounds, just get their top of the line equipment and have them pay for the install at a good shop, a good shop wil be able to do wonders in the way of install and setup suggestions...... DO IT!!!!!
