Hey there fellow enthusiasts and owners. I like the layout here, and this seems to be a little friendlier than some other sites out there. A little about me, my name is Thomas, Im 32, I am both an auto technitian, and tractor trailer driver. I have twin boy/girl due in about a month. I have been a Chev enthusiast for many years, mainly S-series. This is my first full size chevy. I have a 93 S10 Blazer in the garage torn apart that I stopped working on when it got cold. The blazer went up for winter, this truck is going down for summer. My babymomma drives an OBS Suburban K1500 cause we have a clowncar-size family! LOL. Some of my hobbies are family, RC cars, model rocketry, video piracy, technology, 4x4, 360, camping and fishing. I have a pet Alexandrine Ringneck Parakeet, Cleopatra, she is 19 years old this week and is completely tamed to me and has been for many years. She does talk and babble and I can take her anywhere just sitting on my shoulder.

On to my own truck... As that is why we are all here afterall.

I bought it about 4 months ago used for 21,000 bucks. just under 70k on it.

Things I have but might not have installed yet:
Airraid CAI (was actually on it when i bought it)

20" Platinum Boulevard wheels
275/55R20 Falken tires
debadged exterior
Ventshades - colored to match
Cold front - colored to match
Interior LT silver trim - colored to match
bowties - colored to match
15% tint over factory
dual halo headlamps with 4500k HID lows and highs, and 3000k fogs.
LED lightbulbs everywhere i could find a bulb

Things I intend to do:
McGaughty 3/5 drop
100k service soon enough
Buy those chrome wheel well flares and trim them to just eyebrows
remove side pipe stepbars
consider an ALPINE stereo system if its a simple install
remove mouldings on the sides
stop clowning around on this truck and get my blazer on the road again for next winter
maybe a sweet hood
rear roll pan
dual exhaust

I would post a photo, but I need 5 posts in order to be able to... So Ill go reading around.

Oh yeah. Its a Z71 package, I took those decals off, and the engine is the 5300 V8. I think my transmission is a 4L60E and Im unsure on limited slip or posi gears. I have drum brakes on the back, I thought it would be discs. The color is 48U which is called Phantom Grey Metallic, but I think its more of a steel blueish. Its a nice color, and I dont see too many of them around. My rig is a XCSB with both sides the rear suicide doors. The fastest I have had it up to is about 110kmph... I like the V4/V8 mode thing and find that I do best about 90kmph.

I have a vette servo here and Im unsure which truck to put it in, I got it for the blazer for off roading, but I might have the same transmission in this truck.

I was surprised when I brought this truck home... I grabbed my tools and went to go underneath and crank the Tbars up to give it a leveled look till I could get drop shackles - And there was no Tbars!!! I had no idea that the NNBS trucks had a new frontend, Im quite dissapointed actually cause the drop kits alot more for this truck than I thought :(

I have also disabled the DRL's, and used a little resistor in the dash sensor plug to trick the auto headlights, so I can cruise around with just my 3000k foglights on, it looks nice, and will look even better when the new projectors are in with yellow LED and signal lights.

I havent driven on my new wheels yet, we bolted a front one on to check if I liked the offset, but then the stockers went back on till its nicer outside.

I am having trouble finding a set of LED taillights in clear/chrome that kinda match the headlights I got. Im going to spend some time looking at what guys have here and maybe ask where they got them. Ebay hasnot got anything I like, and neither to the poeple I got the headlights from.

Ill put up a couple photos when I have the 5 posts that I need to post them.

OK I have my 5 posts, here is a few pics of my truck.

4500k lows, 3000k fogs, colormatched ventshades/bowties/grill insert(not on), 17% tint over factory. This is currently what it looks like.

I have these headlamps to put on, but I am currently changing the colors of the LED and adding the resistors into them. I need some LED bulbs that havent arrived yet so I can test the colors so they all match. The halos will stay white (they are white, not that 6000k wannabe white), the LED bar was all that 6000k color and they looked ridiculous the way they shipped. I am making them white/yellow. The factory signal bulbs I have some different yellows for too.

And these are the rims I can wait to roll on when the snow is gone. 20 inch Platinum BLVD the tires are 275/55 Falken something or others.

Im interested in the Mcgaughty drop kit next but will it fit my factory wheels for wintertime?
