Magnaflow on a 4.3

I can get a great deal on a magnaflow 3" muffler for my 4.3 and am wondering if anyone has done it and how it sounds. muffler is only $30.00 and is like new.

I like the sound of the Magnaflow, has a nice tone without being overpowering. Had one on my old 89 S-15 Jimmy with the 4.3L.

ok thanks. also wondering would it sound better dumped or run tail pipe all the way out?

Better to run a tailpipe, if not it drones in the vehicle too much.

this is a pyps race pro on my 4.3l. its nearly identical to a magnaflow 3" and its dumped behind the axle.
