What would be the most gaining (HP) exhaust I can put on my 94 k1500 with the TBI350? I already have edelbrock shortys.

Custom 2.5" mandrel bent Y pipe, 3" hi flow cat, 3" mandrel bent pipe to through-style muffler of your choice. Put muffler downstream of engine as far as possible.

Use longtube headers, not shortys.

Agreed, don't think doing the exhaust will make your truck fast

Don't expect to gain any more then 15 or so hp from an exhaust. Occationaly you will see gains of 20hp or more but often you only see a few hp. One thing to keep in mind is that most of the hp will be found in the higher RPM ranges so daily driving you won't notice much of a gain. You will gain some hp and if you keep your foot off the gas you should gain a small amount of MPG. Might be as little as .5 mpg but every tiny bit helps.

The design of the exhaust system will determine where more or less power is made. To state that every/any exhaust system gives up to "x" gains at "y" RPM's is really very silly.

I already have true duals straight all the way to the tips. I was thinking of putting two high flow cats on. Would this help any?
