So confused!!

I have a 97 chevy 1500 5.7 vortec. want a tune, basicly egr delete and post cat o2 sensors deleted (not sure if i need anything else. kinda want on cheap side). just curious if i get a pcm from blackbear and put it in my truck what do i need to do after to make it "relearn" i thought i seen something about a crank relearn or something, sounds expencive, i really want a tune, just dont want to mess up my truck in the process. Thanks for anyhelp, its very appreciated!

Yes, we do offer the PCMs to purchase. For your year, crank relearns are rarely needed, but if they are, any mechanic with a Tech II or the like can perform it for you.

Hi there! I just got a new to me 97 K1500 4x4 with the 5.7 as well...haven't done much with it yet, but fuel mileage on my last tank was only 11.4 mpgs...wondering if a tune would help improve...I am thinking tuneup first and then think about a tune afterwards, but any input is appreciated
