Well, yesterday i went out to a guy parting out a suburban and picked up some stuff that looked to me like a steel of a deal. I picked up an overhead console, like new door handle trim pieces (3 or the 4 in my truck are broke from people pulling the panel previously and braking them), 2 rear power window switches, (somehow both of the ones for my rear doors were broke, they looked fine, i could roll down the windows from the driver seat, but the rear windows wouldn't work with their switches and all the wiring appeared in tact when i popped off the door panel, but the new switches made em work!) and the retaining clip for the visor. All of that for $50, which is less than what i was prepared to shell out for just the overhead console, since its in good working order) I'm gunna hold onto the door handle trim pieces for now and not put them in, as i plan on repainting the interior this summer, so i figure i'll put them in when i do that so i shouldn't need to take them out and risk braking them. But all in all, i feel like i got a good deal yesterday, just thought i'd share. this weekends project is roof console install, and rear speaker install. (i picked up a set of brand new infinity speakers for the front and the rear for under $100) And if my CB gets here, CB install.
