Hi I have a question about steering boxes and power steering pumps.
I have a GMC 1980 1/2 ton 4x4 that has stock axles with 35" tires that my son and I are building to play in the woods with.
The problem we are having is the trucks power steering pump brackets were missing and the box doesnt seem right.
The part that doesnt look right on the box is were the lines go in. One port is metric and the other is standard.
We are searching the junk yards for parts but no luck. If we have to buy new we will.
I did some research and see that year takes a metric style pump and box. Does it mater if I have to buy both new if it is standard or metric?
