Ok on to next project 96 c1500 and i found that springs out of a f250 work mint for what i wanted so thats what im putting im this truck also or does anyone have a better idea

how much lift you thinking the springs will give you? if its more the 2" then your going to have problems with your angles on your bj and lca

if this is a project why not do a sas you normally find the parts pertty cheap in the junk yards they even have the whole kits for like 1600

I did an sas swap on an s10 i like 2wd and this a dd and weekends project

yeah true having a lifted truck is hell as a dd sucks having to always jump in and out and trying to park takes forever lol but you gotta love driving them

Driving them everyday isnt a problem its i have i little one and its a bitch getting her in and out

Go with a suspension lift or dont bother. Body lifts on out trucks look like crap, The frame hangs down too low as it is.

Im doing a body lift and suspension. Im just not going huge i just got in to 2wd wheeling and i need to be able to get my kid in and out .

If i wanted it huge i would solid axle leafs dana 60s and do tranny trans swap .

yeah try parking in the parking lot at my work and see if parks like a factory truck you will see its more like doing a 3 point turn than parkin by the time you in a space

Ya or try parking anywhere in ct but i drive 3 plus hours a day and putting a kid in a huge truck aint fun ive done it and dont like it that and im not going 1600 plus into my dd and having it down for a week

yeah thats my problem now i need my truck for a dd so any major modifications are on hold till i get another dd

Ya my other truck had blown motor and this one im going to take my time on. It will get to where i want it someday but slow is better you dont spend a lot at once

true and when you not in a hurry you tend to do things the right way the first time instead of just taking short cuts cause your pressed for time with a dd i just finished my interior it took me almost 4 months but its done and looks bad a$$ ill post pics up tonight
