Hey,
i know this has been talked about lots, ive been trying to find threads about it but now that im looking, cant find it. Basicle i have a chevrolet Silverado fully loaded, and i want to put Red LEDs in the gauge cluster, but also wanna make all my buttons and switches red as well, is it possible? if so , what LEDs are the brightess that work with the dimmer. Also, my steering wheel controls, the volume and seek buttons, lights dont work, they are more then likely burned out, how do i replace them?
thanks

RC= regular cab, EC = Extended Cab, CC= Crew Cab, there is a full article in the technical articles section on the conversion for an OBS. You have a NBS, but if you go to superbrightleds.com they have a automotive bulb finder, that will tell you which bulb goes where for your entire truck. I've done red before, but after doing blue i fell in love with it. looks great! If memeory serves me, your steering wheel controls lights are soldered. Alot of the lights in your buttons and switches require a more in depth modification than just swapping out the bulb. read through the tech articles. ALOT of great info in there. and an FYI, here is an OBS IC blue for ya...maybe you'll see why i love blue. lol

Yeah,
i do love the blue, very sweet. But, i own a 1990 chevrolet SPORT as well, and with the moonies gauge, i cut out the backing and put in red LED bulbs and love the red. (my truck is like the 454ss, all black with silver and red badgings. Id liek to do the same with my newer chevy. allthough this truck is more a charcoal metalic grey, id still like keep with the red interior lights. im willing to take the challenge for the steering wheel buttons too.

Anyone have a picture of moonies in an LED color was really considering do this since I have had the gauge cluster apart about 7 times.
