Seems like a lot of money for only a 100hp increase. I would rather spend the money on a stronger new lower end and some heads. Should be able to make more power than that NA.

ProCharger is a damn fine kit out of the box, very complete for a stock motor. You should get an intank pump to go along with the inline, ditch the FMU in favor of higher flowing injectors, and a custom tune.

I would certainly hope they were passed up on hills by the 8.1 and duramax trucks. Pulling 10k with 39's and 4.10 gears is a really bad idea. If you want 100hp over stock, long tube headers with a good exhaust system, custom tune and a cam will probably get you real close. Heads on top of all that would put you over 100hp. You could always put the blower on after those mods!

When I ordered my heads from Mike Lewis (Lewis Racing Engines), he said he had a Procharger unit he took off his Vortec 454. Not sure if he wanted to sell it, but worth a try.
