I've been looking for a setup that will get me the absolute lowest possible drop to lay bags and 22's on an 88 chevy rcsb stepside. I've read the sticky but i don't want to cut a bunch of stuff.

Will be getting upper and lower tubular control arms, stock configurations -not any that are drop arms
will be getting a rack and pinion and custom fabricating it to fit

The rear i know i want a triangulated 4 link that doesn't bind, vibrate, wear excessively and has no lowering, lifting problems. I don't want it to look chopped up or thrown together. I would like something show quality with nice lines, clean smooth looks, strength and functionality.

I would love to find a k member for the front but cant find one yet-Any help?

Other areas of interest are getting the body as close to the ground as i possibly could without body dropping or cutting the floor. I've searched for possible custom chassis that would allow the body to sit lower (basically like section or channeling).

I looked at the streetscraper kit from chassistech but their setup is designed to only lay on 20's

First of all I would suggest staying away from the streetscraper kit or any product from airbagit.com or chassis tech or whatever other name you want to call them. that is unless you want nothing but headaches when attempting to install. If you do go with the triangulated 4 link you will have to get a fuel cell because the gas tank is in the way of the upper link bars. If you really want the body closer to the ground you won't make very much of a difference without bodying it or channeling it. I would stick with laying frame and keeping it fairly simple. You are already going to have to tub the firewall, move the harness, and notch for the tie rods just to clear those 22s up front so getting the body closer to the ground is going to be a lot more work.

Understood. I agree less is more, im going to just lay it out for now and in the future if i get bored with it then i will body drop. I really don't mind notching/cutting im just picky with looks and function. Thanks for the advice on airbagit. When i was looking their streetscraper setup it looked like it had alot going on there and looked messy. Very clean and very simple is my goal.

IMO I would go with a triangulated 3 link. They are clean and simple and will allow you to keep the stock gas tank. I just got rid of a bodied ext cab that was the same body style as yours and I realized that I just don't want to deal with a bodied truck because you lose functionality with it. You can get a clean look and keep it simple by focusing on just laying it out on 22s. I haven't messed with step side beds but I have a feeling that the 22s are probably going to rub the step side fenders. I could be wrong but I would look into it before cutting anything up. Keep up the questions before you dig into this!!!!

Im going ti fuel cell it and shave the door anyway. What about a parallel 4 link with a watts link?

Im definitely going to smooth and box everything. Im thinking about having a guy cnc cut me some arched pieces to make my c notch instead of the common squared c notches.
