What year truck?

My experience (89-91) it's simple. Take out the two bolts on the sides, disconnect the parking brake cable release from the lever (not the handle you pull), unbolt the top bolts that are in the defrost vent, drop the steering wheel (might want to do that first, doesn't matter I don't think), take the radio control and the computer box bolts out of the dash unplug the radio from the radio box and it should come out. I might have missed something but that's it for the most part.

Putting it in with the duct work is a pain though.

They take a wile. I am sure it calls for 6-8 hours book. You should have it out in 3-4 typicaly.

Why are you wanting to pull it.

I am wanting to do this also for my 94. I am taking the one out of my 90 because it isn't crack and have to color match it before install. Just waiting for the time to get to it if weather holds up.

Lowlife, I guess my explanation was useless for you then huh? sorry

AB, I think the '94's have the same style dash as the '91's so just use my explanation. you're going to have to remove the instrument cluster which I forgot to mention and the courtesy light wires. It's just a bunch of 7mm bolts and maybe a some torx screws holding in the visor thing. (the '89 I pulled out did, my '91 didn't have torx)
