I used PRO car care vinyl interior dressing, works great on all of the plastic interior pieces. Of course my stepdad sells and delivers their products so I get stuff like that for free.

It's been quite some time since I've cleaned mine. I think last time I used Murphy's Oil soap in a bucket of warm water and a cloth. Just wring most of the water out before wiping things off.

I have a 97 k1500 and I have really only cleaned it once since I bought it. I shampooed the carpet and door panel carpet after soaking it down with walmart great value carpet cleaner which worked great. Then I used bleach white for tires to clean the dirty plastic and vinyl. I also used the bleach white to clean all of my buttons whiched worked great to clean them. And after all that I then used turtle waxes tire shine to wipe all the plastic and vinyl down to leave it nice and slick and clean. It really looks good in my opinion, I have got a lot of complements on it. And I was cautious of the bleach white eating up my plastic or vinyl but it didnt.

The center console kinda has a greenish looking stuff on it and the door panels are a little black where the handles are. So whats the best for this and anybody ever clean the headliner what would you use for that?

Any all purpose clean should do, just get a soft sponge, also, a yellow bug sponge (like at wall-mart, basically just a sponge, but it has some cloth over it), you can use a tooth brush to get in the air vents and cracks, then spray or wipe on your dressing/protectant and your done.

Honestly, I just use a damp microfiber on the dash and door panels. Normal window cleaner works great on the windows and I just vaccum the carpet lol. Any bad spills or stains and I rent a Rug Doctor and steam clean.
This is the old '98 with just a simple cleaning:

And the other '98 with the same thing:

Rug doctor destroyed one of my brand new sofas.. lol. The company sent out a rep to pick me up, took me to the furniture store and bought me a whole new living room set. Was pretty awesome of them.

So, you used something called "rug doctor" on a new sofa? I wouldn't mind having them buy me a new couch and love seat. Rug doctor is strong, good for carpet, but not so good for fabric like.sofas.

Uhmm.. Well I used the furniture model.......
They have 3 different machines. Ones carpet, ones hardwood floors, and ones furniture and vehicle interior..
And it said right on it, approved for microfiber, which it didn't damage it per-say.. just turned it black (Was originally red)
