I bought a 1993 GMC ext cab over the summer, its already dropped on 18's and rubs/scrapes on every little bump. I bought some 22's and have them on the back with no problem. I can't fit them on the front yet so i'd like to bag the front to start. I'll bag the back later on but for now i'd like to start up front.

Here are some pics of when i bought it.

Here is the 22's on the rear...i dont care for the style so i'd like to get different ones eventually.

your list is fine. the ss or re bags are your best bet. try the avs 9 switch box if you are gonna run 8 valves for total control and be able to do FBSS.

You'd be better off running the re 7s because the ss have been blowing and leaking extremely quick. The list looks pretty good though.

I dont think you will ever get the fronts to clear with that much tire imo

That is exactly what I was thinking.

You may want to change your mind on compressors, the 444s do not come with a pressure switch or relays.

list looks ok. but air line youll spend more easy! its a buck a foot for 3/8 plus you want smaller line for the gauges but at least its only like 50cents a foot!
but like they say.... that front might not work. smaller tires MIGHT WORK. read the sticky thread about laying on 22s youll see you got alot more work to do trimming firewall and such and thats just alot more work. but if you wanna do it go ahead. just depends how much work ya wanna do! needless to say its gotta be cut or lifted back up.lol

simple solution... ad them. Those two parts cost under $10.

Thanks for your help everyone.

So far I've ordered a lot from newmaticsinc and got bags, compressors, 8.5 gallon tank, switch box, pressure switch, relays and avs gauges. Also placed my order for the fittings today.

I need to still buy cups and shock relocaters as well as the VU4 valves.

I have a buddy around the corner with a shop and lift so installation should be fairly quick. The 22's are up for sale locally. I'm going to go with a different style if I decide 22's again.

what just backyard? ;)
my folks got a nice shop in our backyard BUT hes got it so full of stuff and other projects that havent been touched in years its pretty hard to get a clean spot to work in. and he has always wanted to get a lift put in BUT i know that will never happen now! he had big plans for the shop when he retired but just like most people when they can finally retire, well there bodies also retire and cannt do the work anymore!
so most the time i just gotta buy my own toys. or pay to get his fixed! like his nice welder he has but his gas tank leases where up again and he didnt want to pay freakin 500bucks to keep his tanks. so i had to buy my own if i wanted to use his welder.LOL tho my bottle is pretty small compared to the beasts he had.LOL but at least i can slowly upgrade the tank size if i want from my local hardware store that sells them to you and has a quick just swap out tank program. :)
and i just bought my own cheapie ebay plasma cutter which i think will work nice for the stuff id be using it on! id love to have a kickass miller cutter but im poor.LOL

the hardest part about my bag project is HOW MUCH TO GO FIRST! if i should just slap it in and play with it for awhile OR if i should rip it right apart and go for broke on the front end! my only thing is i really want to keep somekinda inner fender and seal it off like stock which i think can be done. i just havent seen any trucks seal off the trailer fenders. but most of those trucks are just weekend warriors or toys. hell my trucks a daily driver and i wanna keep the engine semi clean still. so it might take me a while to get it done if i decide to slam the front hard. i wanna be able to basically rip off the front valance, and/or maybe slap a drag block right behind the valance to throw some sparks just for kicks. ;)
i just really hope my 3/8valves are fast enough on the front bags! that or else ill try and sell the 3/8valves and upgrade to 1/2inch valves. i just know with my rear helper bags the 3/8s are still way to slow but then again they are only 100psi and the inlet on the helper bag itself is only 1/4inch threaded inlet fitting. im not sure if i should just keep it OR see about swapping out the helper bag for a regular bag with large inlet size but then it could be alot more fab work if i could even make it fit between tire and frame!

you got any videos of your truck in action?

No not back yard, my family owns a Chevy dealership so I have a bunch of lifts to choose from, lol. Your 3/8's valves will be plenty fast, it won't hop or anything but it will be fine, mine has 3/8's valves and 1/2 inch line. I will try to get a video today maybe.

I would check out newmaticsinc.com I ordered the s10 front package from them and had them swap out the cups for 88-98 cups and got the dual 480s for around $700. That kit comes with everything you need to do the front minus the shock relocators but they have those too for about $50.
