they will eventually get louder when the packing burns out. In the old days they would get them hot and spray some cold water in them to burn them out quicker, but if you going thru all that trouble you may as well remove them.

I was just wondering really. I like how they sound i just wish they were a little louder. And spraying water inside your exhaust... wouldnt that be bad??

if the truck is running, it wont make it all the way to the motor.

Those you have to weld on yourself. If you don't have access to a welder it'd be best to just go to a muffler shop and have them install muffler bearings. Shouldn't be too expensive.

Those are not sealed bearings. Be sure to order the seals and pack the bearings with Hi temp grease. You don't want to have to do the job twice!

:word: I had dual bearings on my magnaflows that were loud as *&#$, but I didn't seal them when installed (should have gone to a shop). As they corroded the sound faded, so MAKE SURE YOU SEAL THEM!

I love that site. In my high school Small Gas Engines class, there was a freshman in my group that was irritating me, so I sent him to the tool room to find me a left handed phillips screw driver because the right handed ones weren't working for me. Come to find out, all these years later, that they actually exist!

Yeaa so i gott them installed yesterday and wow!!! what a difference it made... My truck is like 20 times louder. I would post pics but they installed them right in the glasspack so you callnot see them really.....just a weld!

sounds like they did a good job. You never want your muffler bearings on the outside exposed to dirt and water. Later on if you want more power just buy some bearings that match the size of the tailpipes and drive em right in the end. In that application you do not want sealed bearings. You want the exhaust gasses to be able to pass through the rollers.
