Need some opinions on my enclosure. Will probably start cardboard mock up tomorrow.
Truck is a 93 1500 reg cab. with 5 speed and 4x4 shifter on the floor.
Not sure whether to go ported or sealed for the enclosure.
Here is the design so far. the curves will follow the seats and it will be made out of fiberglass and mdf then painted body color (blue).

sorry for the crude drawing. the box will be built seperate then the rest will be glassed over it. the two black stripes on the box will be raised so the sub has room between the back of the cab.
On the top view the circles are cupholders. the little rectangle would be the port location. the bigger black rectangle is just a cubby for little things. the light blue rectangle is padding/ armrest
thanks

i had a center console box in a ford 2500 between buckets . it was ported box with a downfiring 12'' it sounded pretty good . i usually build my own boxes but i had this one built , the port was on the bottom of the back side , not sure what you are putting in it for speakers , but make sure you get the cubic air space required for the speaker you want and build your box to fit. looks good though might be putting back between the seats as soon as i can ditch the bench seat .

sorry i've been busy with other stuff. I changed from my original plans a little. Decided not to shape with seat. Just wondering what everyone else adds to their consoles besides cupholders? And also where do you buy inserts for cup holders at?

I got mine on ebay from a guy called sreading http ://www .ebay.com/sch/sreading/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_from=&_ipg=&_trksid=p3686 For a size reference, the 3" 2-tiered ones he sells fit a McD sweet tea cup perfectly.
