ive got a 94 extended cab 5.7 4l60 truck, i just bought a 94 454 complete that im gonna put in it. trouble is i wanna keep the 4l60 for awhile but since there isnt any over the counter chips for that combo ive either gotta buy a custom chip or buy the stuff to burn my own. im planning to get everything from moates but what im wondering is just to get this thing running safeley is if its possible to put stock 94 454 info and the 4l60 info from say my stock chip all on one new one just to get going? or is there any bin files of this type already floating around somewhere?
i can buy the stuff to do my own chips for close to the same as buying 1 chip so if its not to hard id like to get a stock tune to get me goin then learn how to change stuff later

Yes, that is what you will need to do.
Moates has .bin files in the support/filemanager area http://www.moates.net/fileman/
GearheadEFI has a few (hundred), http://www.gearhead-efi.com/gearhead-efi/
Tunerpro only has definitions, http://www.tunerpro.net/downloadBinDefs.htm

on the moates programming site they have a complete tunning kit for 330ish, but i see you can buy stuff seperate also, what would be the minumum stuff id need to buy if i wanted to buy just what i need to put the two stock chips together 454 engine paremeters and 4l60e trans parameters?

I responded to your post, keep in mind you have two different ECM codes to mesh the parameters from. Not a huge deal with an excel spread sheet and TunerProRT but a detail. The only real complication to your plan is the fact you will have to mesh the 454 to the PCM in such a way that you will be detuning it at the same time and disabling some features that you will not use with the 454 such as the knock sensor and linear egr. Its not impossible by any means, just has to be handled in a certain way or the 4L60E will cook. The 4L60E is a fragile transmission compared the the 4L80E and the full 385 ft/lbs @ 1,600 of a stock TBI 454 would quickly be its demise. It needs to be detuned to under 360 ft/lbs, preferably under 340 ft/lbs in order to be happy. At the same time you will need to tweak the transmission for the 40-60 ft/lbs of additional torque that it will be recieving compared to the stock 350.
