I have a 92 k1500. I bought the truck in pretty rough shape. It's a work in progress now :) It has a blue interior. I am planning to swapping everything to gray. In the meantime my gf had the bright idea that ripping the carpet out and rhino lining the interior would look good. Well she ripped the carpet out and well now my truck just has no carpet in it anymore. Just a bare floor. I've been debating on just buying a molded capet. The truck will be used for a lot of offroading so I was thinking that one of the thick vinyl floor coverings would be easier cleanup. Or would a rhino lined interior look good? Does anyone have any picture of an interior that has been redone?

I'm not sure what you would actually like, but for me, higher-end brand molded carpet is the way to go, if you want bed liner in the cab, rhino lining prolly isn't the best choice, just because it sucks, and peels, and oh yea, it sucks, and ugly. I mean, when some go with the bed liner on the floor, they think the floor would be all smooth, well, its not, I've seen a few Jeeps with bed liner on the floor, not bad, but the guy doesn't drive it daily, he actually took the time to smooth out the floor (welding on sheet metal over the brackets and such, to get a smooth effect), not to mention he has to touch up the floor with bed liner after awhile. I would go with molded vinyl floor, not sure if it can be made to fit like carpet though.

Good luck.

I guess I should have said bed liner and not just the rhino liner brand. They do make the vinyl whole floor mats molded just like they do the carpets. I am just indecisive right not on which road that I want to take on the inside. I think what is holding me back on the carpet is that I hate to spend money on a brand new carpet and it get mud all in it. But I dont know how good the vinyl floor will look.

I wouldn't just run bedliner, without any heat shielding, the floor will get pretty hot on your feet after awhile. I do however love the vinyl floor in my HD, so much easier to maintain than carpet, and don't gotta worry about getting dirt ground deep into it.

I agree with the statement "I love the vinyl floor in my HD" totally.
At first wasn't so sure but didn't take long at all and I'm loving it, so much easier and faster to clean.

i don't get why people want carpet in a vehicle:whatever:, I mean you wear shoes when you drive so it's hard to tell the difference

No vehicle should have carpet floors, I really don't get that idea. It just gets dirty and is hard to clean. My GMC has factory vinyl on the floors and I can't complain. In my CJ8, I put dyna mat down and then Duplic color bed liner over it. Well the Dyna mat works good but not that cheap, junk bed liner. If you use bed liner, have a professional do it with a good warranty. That DIY garbage does not work.

I'd put vinyl in my truck if the carpet needed replacing, but I just bought some thick rubber floor mats at Sprawl Mart and they work for now. But where I live, whenever it isn't covered with snow, its covered with mud. And when the mud leaves, its dusty. You'd think I live in a real sh!thole, but its actually quite nice. Just dirty.
