Alright, so i had some issues while i was doing my LED swap, including getting to many of one bulb and not enough of another. I've posted those corrections in the LED swapover write up. But one thing i didn't realize, is the map lights do require you to unscrew the housing. So if there is anyone else out there that has run into this issue, i figured i would write something up so you can see how easy it is. The map lights use a rigid loop folson bulb. The trick with these is the bulb is held in by two metal clips that pull out, holding tension on the bulb keeping it in place. So keep that in mind when you pull off your lenses and know that it is a 5 minute job. I sat on my center console to get myself up high enough and comfortable during the swap. Anyhow, here is the how to.
Remove all three lens.
Remove the two screws holding the housing into the roof.

OPTIONAL: remove the trim piece around the housing. I did this to create more room because i have large hands, if you got tiny hands, or are able to see up top easily, you may not need to remove the trim. To remove the trim slide it towards the driver side, and out, than slide it back towards the passenger side and out.

remove the old bulb.
Place the new bulb onto one of the hooks. on mine it was easier to hook one side than the other, so i hooked the hard side, than the easy side. I found it was easiest this way. When trying to hook the second hook, i used a screw driver to push it in, while i used my other hand to hook the light in. I would recommend using as little force as possible, as these do bend easily. if you push to far the metal clips won't spring back out to hold tension on the light bulb.

repeat on opposite side, than put everything back together!
