So i have a 97 sierra k1500, and im planning on pulling my tired engine out and putting in a long block. im gonna do some bolt on stuff, K&N cold air, msd ignition stuff, and headers. ive been looking at these flowtech shorty smog headers. supposedly they bolt right into place with my oem exhaust ( my truck has true duals stock, with dual flowmasters.) they also work with the egr, which i like, cuz i dont want any problems with deq. my question is, is anybody running them?? what kind of power increases, ect. i want my new engine running as efficiently as possible, and dont wanna buy these if they are going to leak down the road and cause me nothing but headaches. thanx for any and all info, opinions, ect.

Alot of people run them and like them, you will see a slight increase all around.
Run fel pro gaskets that are for the stock manifolds, they seal much better.
Also skip the K&N crap and MSD crap and keep it stock.
