I just picked up this Suburban on my birthday. Its a 1989 1/2 ton Silverado trim 4x4. It has 180k but the guy I bought from swore that the motor had been replaced at 100k and the trans was rebuilt not long ago. Anyway, I'm planning on slowly restoring it to semi original condition with some upgrades. It had a random misfire at idle but I did a tune up and found that some of the spark plug wires were burnt open so I corrected that problem. I havn't even had a chance to try out the 4wd but everything looks to be in decent shape for a 23 year old truck. Tried to post some pics but it said I had to have 5 posts for links.
