A Hooker AeroChamber that is, got a killer deal on Amazon, SI/SO for $52 shipped. It is waiting at my house and will be put on next week sometime.

My current setup is Hedman painted LT's, custom 2.5" Y pipe, 3" Thunderbolt high flow cat, into a 3" SI/SO 18" long Dynomax Race Bullet ran all the way to a tucked 45 at the rear bumper.

Vid will come to after it is installed.

I do the Bullet, but miss the chambered muffler sound plus my lost MPG and low end.

ALSO, the Bullet will be for sale next week too.

I put these on my car and they sound awesome. I put the Max flows on my truck and they isn't much difference internally, but the max flows are a little louder. Can't wait for a sound clip of the Hooker!!

Any input on how they'd be on a 5.3L with the variable fuel management system?

Hurry with the new setup. I'm on the fence about what muffler to run.

I think it would be ok sounding, would not sound ricey at all IMO.

Well I have to wait for my parents to get back with the good camera.

I am kind of disappointed so far............its alot quieter compared to my built and it is 4" shorter, I don't know how I feel so far.

Quieter inside the cab or just quieter in general.

Considering the bullet is basically a glasspack...yeah it's going to be more quiet

Well in the cab you can barely hear it, I mean it is pretty loud on the outside, but I don't really think it's loud enough, I liked the sounds of my $35 thrush welded better, it was louder, the description said the Hooker would be agressive and deep, it is deep, agressive not so far, especially for being 14" long.

I already have way to much into all 4 of my setups, I will either learn to like this one, or buy another Thrush welded or get a pypes muffler and swap it myself since they would all be the same length, I already paid 40 each time to get my old bullet and this one put in, i have a buddy who can weld at school, idk why I didn't wait to have him do it.

Once you get a Spintech you won't ever want to change it...you should've just listened to all my Spintech trolling in the first place.

Meh, I like change though and that is an expensive one to take off if I wanted to change, I can get a thrush for 32 bucks shipped if I ever want to change it.

Which setup do you like better? Throttle response? Sound quality?

I liked my other Thrush Welded chambered muffler better, soley for how much louder it is and how its a bit louder in the cab. This muffler has better quality and throttle response then my straight through Bullet.

I was thinking of Magnaflow this round. I may reconsider and go Thrush.

Yeah it sounds a little disappointing. I'm still interested in it though. I'm thinking it'll sound a lot different on my truck cuz of no cats and less tailpipe. Oh and I'll be doing a 4" tailpipe also so I think it'll still be louder than your setup

Well the camera is not the greatest and I only revved to 3K, I think it will be what you want since you have no cats and not as much tailpipe, there is 6 feet of pipe after it, if you want it I will sell it to you, just text me for a price.

I don't blame him. I got lucky with mine, but I've heard some trucks with the same engine as mine and different setups and I can't stand some of them. There's no way to tell especially since youtube videos sound like crap most of the time.
